Luke Sturgill, MD is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who recently trained as Facial Plastic Surgery Fellow for Stephen W. Perkins, MD at Meridian Plastic Surgeons. “We are thrilled that Dr. Sturgill has joined us! He is a very talented facial plastic surgeon, and we all look forward to practicing together with him. Dr. Sturgill offers a vast array of services, including rhinoplasty, face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, forehead and brow lift, scar revision, otoplasty, injectables (Botox/filler), skin resurfacing and facial implants. He also performs reconstructive procedures, such as tissue repair after Mohs surgery, dog bites and other lacerations and bony reconstruction due to facial trauma. “I am deeply honored to join the esteemed team at Meridian Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Sturgill is originally from Kentucky and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for excellence in scholarship and ultimately graduated at the top of his class.
Dr. Sturgill then completed a highly competitive five-year Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of Florida. During residency, he performed over 4,000 procedures and dedicated a significant amount of time focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and nose.
In his free time, he enjoys finding the best restaurants, and playing tennis and basketball.
