Stephen W. Perkins, MD of Meridian Plastic Surgeons, was an invited key faculty member at the AAFPRS 13th Annual International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery in National Harbor, MD. He presented a lecture and participated in a panel discussion on the topic of Facelifting. He also presented lectures on the topics of Lip Lift and Rhinoplasty.

Dr. Perkins also was an invited key faculty member at the Global Aesthetics Conference in Miami Beach. He presented lectures on the topics of Perioral Surgical Rejuvenation Techniques, Rhinoplasty and Facelifting.

Congratulations to Dr. Stephen Perkins! He was named by his peers as an Indianapolis Monthly Magazine Top Doctor for 2022. Dr. Perkins’ partners at Meridian Plastic Surgeons also made this year’s list: Dr. Bruce Van Natta, Dr. Christine Kelley and Dr. Michael Sadove.

The Top Doctors listing was compiled by Healthcare research and information company, Castle Connolly Medical. They asked physicians in central Indiana to recommend someone they would see themselves or suggest to a family member.

Dr. Stephen Perkins of Meridian Plastic Surgeons was an invited key faculty member at the AAFPRS “Advances In Rhinoplasty and Facial Rejuvenation” meeting in Miami.

He presented lectures on the following topics:

• Use of Computer Imaging in a Facial Cosmetic Practice
• Importance of Fine Tuning the Nasal Tip in Rhinoplasty
• Surgical Lip Enhancement Better Alternative

He also participated in a Rhinoplasty panel discussion.

Dr. Stephen Perkins was an author, along with his former Facial Plastic Surgery Fellow, Dr. Celeste Nagy, and Dr. Ravinder Bamba on a recent article published in Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine.

The topic analyzed Longevity of Subnasal Lip Lift On the Aging Lip.

Stephen W. Perkins, MD helped to direct the recent 2022 “Reaching New Peaks In Facial Plastic Surgery” Winter Symposium in Beaver Creek, CO. This was offered by Facial Plastic Surgery International, an educational foundation he co-founded with Capi Wever, MD, a colleague and Facial Plastic Surgeon from the Netherlands.

Dr. Perkins is the president of this organization and spoke on the topics of “Subnasal Lip Lift” and “Deep Plane Facelift”. He also participated in a panel titled “Progressive Approach to Facelifting”.
