Skin Tightening

As we get older, our skin loses its elasticity, and facial skin begins to sag. While there is not a non-surgical treatment that can replace the results of a facelift, we do offer options that will effectively tighten the skin with little to no downtime.

SkinTyte

We also utilize Sciton Laser procedures for patients who desire moderate, noticeable skin improvement without having to undergo surgery and anesthesia. Laser treatments are not a substitute for facial plastic surgery, however they enable you to achieve tighter, firmer skin.

SkinTyte is one of the Sciton Laser treatments we perform. It utilizes pulsed light technology that deeply heats the skin and dermal collagen while cooling and protecting the treated surface at the same time. This process promotes partial denaturation and contraction of collagen. The heat also initiates the body’s natural healing process which creates a renewed collagen foundation – leading to increased skin firmness.

It takes only a few minutes, and there is no downtime. Full results are noticeable over four months as the collagen foundation of the skin is rebuilt and strengthened. A series of two to three treatments spaced about one month apart is typical of most patients.

Exilis

We offer Exilis – an FDA approved, non-surgical solution that utilizes radio frequency energy to reduce fat and tighten skin anywhere on the body. This safe procedure uses radio waves to heat the skin and targeted fat cells. Thermal energy speeds up the metabolic activity of the fat cells – which causes them to shrink. It also stimulates collagen to improve skin texture and laxity.

Exilis is great to treat the face, jowls, neck, décolletage, arms and bra fat in women. In men, it’s effective for the love handles, breasts, abdomen, face, jowls and neckline. The number of treatments will vary by patient and will depend upon the condition and area to be treated as well as the desired outcome. Exilis works gradually, and results may take from two to four months to maximize the effects of the treatment.

Exilis takes between 15-45 minutes per area, and you can resume your normal activities immediately after your treatment. There is no downtime or anesthesia required.
